Congratulations to Jasmine Vang for being the recipient of the 2016-2017 Hmong Students Association of Carolina Scholarship!
“Thank you for selecting me as your 2016-2017 Scholarship winner. It is an honor to be awarded with this opportunity. I am extremely grateful and hope to give back to the community as much as HSAC has. I will be continuing my education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a business major.”
Special thanks to the 2016-2017 HSAC club members, our supporting alumni Cherish Khang, and our club advisor Dr. Rachel Willis for their continuous hard-work and dedication that made this scholarship possible.
We would also like to thank our sponsors, Duck’n Good, Food Place, Southeast Oriental Market, and Elite Family Eye Care for their generous contributions.
HSAC is proud to grant this award to a fellow Hmong student and we hope that the Hmong community continues to support us in our mission to propagate higher education.
The Hmong Student Association of Carolina (HSAC) values the passion to help our community. This year, HSAC would like to reward a selected individual for his or her community values. The HSAC Scholarship provides a selected Hmong high school senior based on his or her passion to help the community and pursue higher education with a small grant to help in his or her educational endeavors.
